The Audio Latte

She's back. And she brought coffee.

I‘m a morning person. Aggressively, unapologetically, annoyingly so.

I enthusiastically get out of bed to greet the day. No real rush, just coffee brewing, sun still deciding, and here at the ranch, that undoubtedly means a bird symphony growing in volume in the background. But it’s after meditation, in that small window before the day has any opinions about me, I feel things that I want to give away.

As a broadcaster, I’ve spent the better part of my adult life learning how to use my voice. In studios, on red carpets, behind microphones that were mostly pointed at someone else’s story. What I never would have predicted twenty years ago was that the most meaningful thing I’d ever want to say would have nothing to do with any of that.

Instead, it would be coming to the mic to remember the possibilities that mornings offer. Something true. A real moment of inspiration that we invite in to help us set the tone for the day. This kind of intentional energy shapes the whole day and affects not only you but those who you share life with.

So that’s what I’m bringing here.
